Serial No. 4801. Manufactured in 1935. Arguably one of the finest side by side shotguns ever made, this example sports 26" barrels, choked WS1 (Skeet 1) both barrels, patent trigger, Winchester hard rubber buttplate, and Winchester proofs. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Gun retains virtually all of the factory blue finish on barrels. Receiver and trigger guard retain virtually all of the original factory blue. Deluxe walnut stocks have wonderful checkered engraving. It has a beaver tail fore end. C&R.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Upon closer inspection, it has been determined that there is a crack in the foregrip measuring approx. one inch running from the left upper edge, down and around to the edge of the checkering starts that surrounds the take down release lever. There is no material missing, and would best be described as a "hairline" crack. It should be a reasonably easy repair by a competent gunsmith. The estimate has been adjusted. Please bid accordingly.
