Serial No. D829. Has matching barrel, receiver, bolt, floorplate, nose cap, rear barrel band, and safety. The German Waffenamt is found stamped the front sight ears, both barrel bands, barrel, and receiver numerous times. Caliber is 7.92x57mm. Receiver is stamped with the Portuguese national crest over date (1937). Excellent action. Has very good to excellent wood. Strong clean bore. Very rare early Nazi issue Mauser.
