This is a standard conversion of the U.S. Springfield model 1861. Lock plate is stamped 1864. Caliber .50-70 govt. All metal is cleaned in the white with light patina. Excellent condition. Stock is devoid of cartouche. Strong cleaned rifled bore. Perfect action.
