This is a standard service model government issue M1 Garand semi-automatic service rifle. Chambered for the .30-govt-06 cartridge. Frame was manufactured by Springfield and dates from June to September of 1945. It has a D28287-12SA S-A3 numbered bolt. Barrel is stamped S-A-1-43. Circle P on wrist. Metal retains much of the original parkerized World War II finish. Trigger guard is not stamped. Strong bore. Perfect action. ME reading - +2. Does not have lock-bar rear sight.
