This standard rifle was manufactured in 1894. It is chambered for the .40-65 Winchester centerfire cartridge. It is standard in all respects and features a 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle buttplate. Rifle is in excellent, original, unaltered condition. The case colors have nickeled out. Barrel and tube are a basic blue-grey smooth patina. 80% original blue on the bolt. Standard sights, period sling swivels. Action is perfect. Strong bore. A nice, clean, above average big bore 86 rifle. Should make a fine shooter.
