Gun started life in 1884 as a standard Single Action Model Army revolver caliber .44-40 with the early screw in black powder frame. Has visible matching numbers. Gun was customized with 1-3/8" barrel that was then refinished with a case colored frame, blue accents and varnished walnut grips. Fine bore. Retains most of the reapplied finish, but there is some pitting under the refinishing. It comes in an altered original shoulder holster. This would be a fun cowboy action shooting gun, and because it is antique, it requires no paperwork.
