Circa 1830. A quality sectional comb music box comprised of 17 sections of 4 teeth each. The movement is contained within a gutta percha case with silver banding and inlay. It retains the original horn material insert over the musical mechanism. The “stop/start” button is mother of pearl. The movement tune “change” button is missing. Also, the winding key is missing. The movement plays and sounds very good with good tone quality.
