Offered is a deluxe Model 1893 lever action rifle chambered for the .30-30 Winchester cartridge. It exhibits many factory special order features to wit 22" half octagon barrel, half magazine, pistol grip, shotgun butt, special deluxe checkering, 3X wood, and tang sight. Rifle has the takedown feature, post 1917 bullseye stock, and Marlin embossed hard rubber shotgun buttplate. The receiver retains traces of brilliant color in hidden areas with the balance nickeled out. Lever has nice case colors evident on sides. The deluxe walnut stocks are excellent. Barrel retains 75-80% original factory blue, albeit thinning at breech. Standard sporting sights. The tang is stamped with factory star (return). Excellent bore. Perfect action. Lovely little special order Marlin rifle.
