This incredible example has survived in about as close to all original new condition as one could hope to find. It is chambered for the .38-55 cartridge and was manufactured in 1895 (third year production). Features a 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, walnut stock, rifle butt, sporting sights, blued finish, and case colored hammer, lever, and frame. This gun shows in almost unused condition. 99% original factory blue and nearly all the brilliant case colors present. Near mint stocks with original finish. Even the fore end tip has all the original finish. The screws retain all the original fire blue. Even the butt plate retains most of the original case colors. Clean strong bore. Perfect action. Spectacular.
