Manufactured in 1874. Standard features include seven-shot cylinder chamber for the .22 rimfire caliber with a 2-3/8" barrel, spur trigger, and single action. The barrel was finished in gold wash. The frame is factory engraved brass. No signs of nickel plating. Comes with pearl grips with the inscription on the back which reads "C.W.H. to R.V.Y. Jan. 1875". The barrel contains approximately 20% of the original gold wash. The screws still retain their fire blue finish. The bore is near mint with strong rifling, and minor frosting. The cylinder retains about 50% of the nickel plating. Perfect working order. Comes in a re-purposed antique oak display case and an original box of 1882 dated 22 ammunition. Lovely little presentation pocket colt.
