Barrel and frame mfg. by Inland Mfg. Barrel is dated 2-43. Chambered for the .30 caliber carbine round. Retains most of the original factory parkerized green finish. Folding paratrooper stock is excellent with no cracks. No visible cartouche. Bore and action are excellent. We tore this gun apart and compared it part by part to the para trooper as listed in the book entitled “The M1 Carbine 111” by J. C. Harrison. Every part is correct for an actual para trooper carbine except for the M1A1 nut plate which is a reproduction. Very rare to find an original early war para trooper carbine that is not simply a made up gun from various parts. Excellent and all original with the exception of above notes.
