Offered is a fine condition and very scarce in this caliber Smith & Wesson No. 3 single action target revolver chambered for the .44 Russian centerfire caliber. Gun sports a 6-1/2" barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, and case colored hammer and trigger guard. The barrel retains approximately 60% of the original Smith & Wesson high polish blue finish, balance blending smooth brown patina. Frame retains approximately 75% of this original high polish blue finish. the cylinder is a basic patina with bright blue in the cylinder flutes. Strong colors on trigger guard and hammer. Grips are near mint. Bore and action are mint. Comes with high Partridge target front sight and adjustable rear. Extremely fine Smith & Wesson target .44. The cylinder has not been modified to except the 44 special and it is an original russian caliber.
