This is referred to as a Shop Keeper or Sheriff's Model. Features a 3-1/2" barrel, no ejector rod, six shot, double action, caliber .38 long Colt, blue and case colored, with rubber grip. This revolver was manufactured in 1886 and is in gem-mint 99.9% never fired condition. No rubs, finish wear, or powder residue at the end of cylinder. Perfect factory stamps. 100% brilliant case colors. Brilliant fire blue never touched screws. 100% fire blue on trigger, end of ejector rod, and top and back of hammer. Mint grips. Mint bore. This fine antique Lightening is literally brand new condition, the nicest condition one we have ever encountered. Factory letter states that this gun was shipped to J.P. Lower & Sons in Denver, Colorado December 6th, 1886 in a shipment of two guns. Incredible, mint, never fired sheriff's model sent to famous Western location in 1886.
