Standard rifle was manufactured in 1895 and is chambered for the .38-40 Winchester cartridge. Standard features include 24" full round barrel, full magazine, walnut stocks, blued finish, rifle butt. Sights include folding globe front, full Buckhorn rear, and tang peep. All metal is a smooth clean mix of blue-brown-plum patina. Some scattered areas of roughness on left side of frame and some boogered screws. Fine action. Strong clean bore. The wood is original, proud to metal, with no cracks, but the buttstock has numerous abrasions.
