This Colt Army revolver was manufactured in 1956, first year of second generation Colts. Sports a 5-1/2" barrel, blued finish, case colored frame, and chambered for the .45 long Colt cartridge. This revolver has seen some poor storage. Barrel and ejector retain approximately 80% blue, thinned on left side. Frame retains 20% colors on left, 75% on right. Half of cylinder retains 95% original blue, while the half where pistol sat has rust and pits, as does the left side of frame and trigger guard. Poor after market replacement grips. Perfect bore and action. Great shooter but a worthy candidate for restoration.
