Pistol was manufactured in 1930. It is a standard pre-war Colt vest pocket Model 1908 semi-automatic pistol chambered for the .25 ACP cartridge. Standard features include blued finish, silver medallion checkered walnut grips, case colored trigger and grip safety. Gun retains fully 95% of the original factory blue finish. Bright case colors on grip safety and trigger. Right side of frame is stamped "U.S. Property" and the Springfield ordinance wheel is stamped behind the wooden grips. Gun has a commercial finish. We have no way to authenticate the additional U.S. Property markings.
