This Deringer was produced in the late 1860s. Chambered for the .41 rimfire cartridge. It is a single shot, spur trigger, all metal Deringer. Features an engraved brass frame. The barrel is gun metal grey. bore is strong but dirty. Trigger does not stay cocked. This patent was purchased by Colt and was later produced as the Colt First Model Deringer.
