These rifles were made from 1883 to 1907. This example is an early four digit serial number. It is chambered for the .38 caliber centerfire (must check to see what .38 cartridge it takes). Standard features include a 30" part octagon heavy barrel, checkered pistol grip walnut stock, steel curved buttplate, sporting sights, blued finish, and case colored receiver. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. Metal retains approximately 70% original blue mixing with plum. Frame retains traces of case colors. Walnut stocks are excellent with sharp checkering and no cracks or chips.
