Manufactured between 1870 and 1872, this rifle is chambered for the .50-70 govt centerfire cartridge. Barrel length is 36", single shot. It has the two position military ladder rear sight. Left side of the stock has the ESA oval cartouche of Erskin S. Allen. The barrel and all small parts are finished in the white. Frame is basically a gun metal grey. Original stocks are near mint with no chips or cracks. Perfect action. Mirror bore. This is an extremely fine condition all original Remington Rolling Block.
