Offered is a perfectly made set of dueling pistols with Belgium proofs and percussion system. Both are .52 caliber smooth bores. Features include 9-3/4" barrels, flared at muzzle, beautiful checkered walnut stocks, fully adjustable triggers, adjustable front sights, set rear, shield plaque at wrist, light engraving on trigger guard, plate, hammer, pan, and tang. All metal surfaces have aged to a clean gun metal grey patina. Wood stocks are excellent. Both have metal butt caps (decorative, do not open). Circa 1850s set that comes in a re-purposed vintage wood case with new lining and a brass powder flask.
