This Remington is the Model 40X-B Range Master bolt action match target rifle in the popular .22-250 Remington caliber. The barrel is a 27" stainless steel, front sight holes are plugged, with three scope bases. The frame is blued and is stamped 40-X. The walnut stock has the adjustable weight front slot in fore end and a rubber recoil pad. The gun shows in as new condition and is housed in its original matching box. Mint bore and action. Model introduced in 1960. It was the last rifle using the M-721 receiver and was a custom shop only offering. Unfired.
