This is a standard fairly late production for a .38-55 rifle. Manufactured in 1921. Standard features include 26" full round barrel, full magazine, walnut stock, rifle buttplate, and tang rear peep sight. Rear sight has been replaced with a single folding leaf. Barrel and tube retains virtually all of the original factory blue finish. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. The frame is basically a clean gun metal silver-grey. Excellent strong bore. Perfect action. Fine late example in the largest caliber in the Winchester Model 1894 rifle.
