Offered is a beautiful early high polish Savage Model 1899 takedown rifle chambered for the classic .300 Savage caliber. Standard features include a 24" barrel, checkered pistol grip walnut stock, Savage logo serrated steel buttplate, blued finish, and case colored lever. The barrel retains 99% of the original factory blue finish. Frame retains 95% of the original high polish blue finish. Lever retains majority of the original brilliant case colors. The sharp checkered walnut stocks are near mint, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips of any kind. Mint bore and action.
