This standard takedown Winchester Model 1894 was manufactured in 1897 for the then new .30-30 Winchester cartridge. Features include a 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle buttplate, walnut stock, blued finish, and takedown receiver. The barrel and tube retain a pleasant a 85-90% blue-brown patina with sporting front and rear sights. The receiver has faded to a blue-grey patina. Original walnut stocks are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips, proud to metal, and never refinished. There is a light 1" dent to the stock at right side. Strong rifled bore. Perfect action. Very scarce to find an antique serial range takedown .30-30 rifle. A true classic in fine condition.
