Manufactured from 1872 to 1874. All metal surfaces are a pleasing mix of smooth blue-brown patina. Original grips are near mint. 8" barrel. There is an unusual lanyard ring in butt. Screws are still fire blue. Traces of case colors on hammer. There is a partial stamp on right side of barrel "W.D.?". Very good bore. Six-shot .44 Smith & Wesson caliber. Locks up tight as new.
