This is a standard Colt Model 1902 Military model, semi-automatic, blued finish, in caliber .38 ACP. The slide, frame, and barrel have British proof marks. The gun is in wonderful condition, displaying approximately 85% original high luster English blue finish with high edge wear, some thinning on top of slide and grip straps. Mint hard rubber grips. Excellent case colors on spur hammer. Manufactured and shipped to the London Armory in 1915. Has the lanyard ring and original magazine. The barrel even retains the majority of the original factory blue. Clean strong bore. Perfect action. Comes with Colt factory letter. Factory letter indicates this gun was shipped on June 22nd, 1915 to the London Armory in a shipment of 50 guns.
