This standard rifle was manufactured in 1925. It is chambered for the .25-20 Winchester centerfire cartridge. Features a 24" full round barrel, full magazine, walnut stocks, rifle butt, and blued finish. This rifle is in excellent all original condition. The barrel and tube retain approximately 97% original factory blue. The rightr side of the frame is a pleasing blue-brown patina. Left side of frame has approximately 30% original blue, starting to plum. Walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips. Has standard sporting sights. The rifle is specially fitted with a steel crescent buttplate with a trapdoor for the cleaning rod as found on Model 1873 Winchesters. It appears 100% original to the rifle, as is fits perfectly and the storage channel appears contemporary to the gun. Very good bore. Perfect action.
