Gun has Nazi eagles on barrel and frame. 6583 stamped on barrel, frame. Bolt is stamped EL24. 94 etch on safety with Nazi eagle. Trigger guard has Nazi eagle and matching number. Magazine housing is stamped ERMA ERFURT 1937 and is numbered 3197 (this floorplate was used to convert a standard Model 98 into a Trainer). The front barrel and sling band are stamped 6117. Stock has a toe repair. Barrel has been sleeved. Mint bore. Very ingenious conversion of a standard 98 rifle into a .22 caliber. Perfect action.
