Offered is an interesting and clean Pennsylvania half stock rifle manufactured by J Henry & Son. Features a 37-1/2" cast steel heavy octagon barrel, double set triggers, .31 caliber percussion, walnut stock, rifle butt, fixed sights, and iron trigger guard. Top of barrel is stamped "Deer Slayer". All metal is a deep dark brown patina. The stock is excellent with no cracks, but some chipping around the nipple, as well as some pitting on barrel at same juncture. Nipple is worn. Working. Interesting Indian trade rifle by well-known maker.
