This is a standard U.S. Military issue trapdoor with a perfect SWP 1882 cartouche on left wrist. Standard features include a 32" barrel, chambered for the .45-70 govt cartridge, all proper U.S. inspector stamps. Walnut stock is excellent with just a couple of minor bumps and a script P on bottom. Barrel and bands retain a majority of the factory blue finish mixed with light plum. Nice colors on block and tang. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. Side plate retains most of the original factory blue.
