According to George Madis's letter, dated 1991, this is one of the rare Winchester single shot bolt action .22 caliber pistols built using Winchester barrels. This example is built using a Model 1902 barrel, and is chambered for the .22 long or extra long cartridge. The barrel is 12", has a folding globe front sight, folding leaft rear, and is bolt action. Frame is unfinished grey metal. Walnut grips (excellent). The barrel is basically blue-brown patina. Sharp markings. Strong bore. This pistol comes with the original hand written George Madis letter of authenticity.
