According to George Madis's letter, dated 1991, this is one of the rare Winchester single shot bolt action .22 caliber pistols built using Winchester barrels. This example is built using a Model 1904 barrel, and is chambered for the .22 short and long cartridge. The barrel is 10-1/4", has a post front sight, sporting rear, and is bolt action. Frame is brass. Walnut grips (poor). The barrel is basically brown patina. Sharp markings. Strong bore. This pistol comes with the original hand written George Madis letter of authenticity.
