These rare rifles were manufactured from 1913 to 1934 only. It is chambered for the .38-40 Winchester cartridge. Features include 22-1/2" round barrel, full magazine, plain pistol grip walnut stocks, hard rubber buttplate, grooved fore end, blued finish, and sporting sights. Barrel retains approximately 70% original blue starting to plum. The frame has approximately 90% original factory blue with most wear on underside. The fore end is perfect. Rear stock is original to the gun, never refinished, with the Remington logo hard rubber buttplate. The entire finish of the buttstock has checked. Perfect action. Mirror bore. Tang rear sight. This rifle needs a restoration on the buttstock and chip on the buttplate repaired/restored.
