Standard Marlin old school Model 39 .22 lever action rifle. Shoots all current .22 ammunition. Standard features include 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, pistol grip walnut stock, and serrated steel buttplate. Barrel and tube retains approximately 75-80% original factory blue mixed with patina, and wear to high edges with some minor freckling. Case colors have darkened and patterned out. Strong fire blue on bolt. Fore end is excellent, proud to metal, with no finish. Rear stock has had a painted on finish added, is a bit shy to metal, buttplate is ill-fitting, and a chip near the buttplate. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. This rifle would be greatly improved with some attention to the stocks. Should be an excellent shooter.
