This is your standard old school Winchester traditional Model 1894 saddle ring carbine chambered for the most desirable round (and the largest), the .38-55 Winchester centerfire. Manufactured in 1907 and is standard in all respects with 20" round barrel, full magazine, folding carbine rear sight, saddle ring, carbine buttplate, and walnut stocks. All metal surfaces are extremely clean with a nice mix of blue-brown patina. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, never re-finished, and no major cracks or chips of any kind. Strong bore, which is unusual in this caliber. Action is perfect. Very clean all original example of this desirable carbine.
