This fine standard model rifle was manufactured in 1902 and is offered in one of the more desirable calibers available at the time, the classic .32-40 Winchester centerfire. It is your basic standard rifle in all respects, with the addition of Winchester sling eyes. Features include a 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, blued finish, and walnut stocks. The barrel and tube retains virtually all of the original factory blue finish that has only thinned on the high edges. Right side of the receiver retains approximately 70% bright high polish factory blue, the left side has approximately 85% bright high polish factory blue. The tang, top of receiver, and bottom have silvered out. There are traces of case colors on the lever. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, never refinished, with usual minor bumps and bruises but no chips or cracks. Strong lightly frosted bore. Perfect action. Fine example for the early 94 in one of the more popular calibers.
