This standard rifle was manufactured in 1915 and is chambered for the .25-20 Winchester center cartridge. Standard features include 24" octagon barrel, walnut stocks, blued finish, and standard sporting sights. Metal finish is basically a smooth blue-brown patina. the walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Action is perfect. Strong clean bore with some light frosting. The barrel has four scope holes (not filled) on top barrel flat for a long tube scope. A new rear sight slot has been added ahead of the original, and there is a hole on the left side of the frame. It is apparent that this rifle had a Malcolm style scope mounted to it at one time.
