These were manufactured from 1888 to 1893. Chambered for the .45-70 cartridge. Lock is stamped 1884. Standard features include a 29-1/2" barrel, two barrel bands, blued finish, case colored block and tang. Walnut stock has a SWP 1886 cartouche. Bottom of wrist has a "K". Gun remains in phenomenal condition. Retains 90% of the factory blue finish, starting to plum. Has a hooded front sight. Block and tang retain most of the brilliant case colors. Even the sideplate and trigger guard retains most of the original blue finish. Mint bore and action. Seldom seen rifle, especially in this condition.
