This carbine is chambered for the .30-40 U.S. Krag cartridge. It has a 22" barrel. Barrel has 95% of its soft original factory blue finish. The frame and magazine are a soft smooth patina. Stock is excellent, but the cartouche is no longer readable. This carbine has the rare Knurled headless cocking piece. Action is perfect. Strong clean bore. ME reading is 1.
