Frame is stamped "United States Property" on right side. Left side of slide has the 1913 patent date with horse in center. Left side of frame has an eagle head and "S16". Has all proper World War I parts except grips have been replaced with a pair of World Was II plastic grips. Gun retains approximately 85% original factory blue dull war-time (Black Army) finish.
