This fine rifle was manufactured in 1955 and is chambered for the desirable .220 swift cartridge. Features include 26" barrel, hooded ramp front sight, sporting rear, straight comb checkered walnut stock, and checkered steel buttplate. This rifle remains in near mint original condition retaining virtually all of the blue finish. Wood is near mint with sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. Mint bore and action. Less than 20,000 Model 70s were manufactured in this caliber, constituting 3.43% of total production and was discontinued in 1963.
