This rifle was manufactured in 1960 and is chambered for the scarce .264 Winchester magnum cartridge. This round was introduced to the Winchester Model 70 line in 1960 and only offered until 1963. It constituted 4.15% of total production with 24,114 manufactured in those four years. Standard features include 26" barrel, hooded ramp front sight, folding leaf rear, checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock, and checkered plastic buttplate. Aside from a hint of muzzle wear, the rifle retains virtually all of the factory blue finish on all metal parts. Walnut stock is excellent with sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. Excellent bore. Perfect action.
