Standard six-shot .44 percussion martially marked Remington Army single action revolver with 8" barrel, blued finish, brass trigger guard, and walnut grips. All metal has the military inspector marks. Original walnut grips are chipped at toe, have hearts carved into both sides, and no visible cartouche. Hammer spur has been cut off. Gun is a pleasing mix of blue-brown patina with strong factory stamps. Locks up fine, but hard to cock without spur. Strong frosted bore.
