Beautiful standard mid-war Sharps New Model 1863 rifle.52 caliber percussion with a 30" barrel, three barrel bands, military sights, sling swivels, walnut stocks, and M.N.M. inspector on barrel. Rifle is in beautiful condition. The barrel is a smooth blue-brown patina. Frame colors have darkened to a beautiful smooth finish. Original walnut stocks are very good, no cracks or chips, but buttstock is a bit shy to metal. Action is perfect. Near mint bore. Patchbox on right side. With Springfield Research letter.
