This fine Savage Model 1899 Takedown rifle was manufactured in 1910. It is chambered for the classic .303 Savage cartridge. Features include a 26" full round barrel, walnut stock, crescent rifle buttplate, perch belly, blued finish, case colored receiver, and mounted with a rear peep sight. The barrel retains approximately 95% original factory blue with some light freckling. Frame retains 85% original factory blue with some thinning on bottom. Near mint walnut stocks with no cracks or chips. Lever has all the case colors. Perfect action. Strong rifled bore.
