This is a nice early boxed post-war Colt conversion kit used to convert the Colt Model 1911 .45 to enable it to shoot the inexpensive .22 cartridge. It is the early hinged brown box with manila label. Serial number matches slide. Slide retains approximately 80% original blue with some high edge wear with some minor spotting. Has a Colt .22 caliber stamped original magazine and all other necessary parts for conversion. Manufactured in 1946.
