This highly desirable and collectible shotgun features 28" barrels with a raised matted rib and a single Gold front bead. The right barrel reads Abercrombie & Fitch Company. The left barrel reads "U.S. Agents New York". The mint bores show no sign of use and are bright and shiny with full length. The original barrel blue is 99% condition. The chamber length measure 2 - 5/8". The case colored frame is also 99% condition and shows no signs of wear. The top lever screw and bottom plate screw do show some slot damage. The gun features single trigger, side clips, side plates, automatic ejectors, and a straight grip stock. The wood is in excellent condition with deep sharp checkering. There is a Gold oval inlay in the toe with the letters A.T. Jr. The buttstock shows only very minor nicks. The right barrel bore diameter is .728" and choked improved cylinder with a .006 restriction. The left bore diameter is .726" and choked light modified with a .015 restriction. The highly collectible Francotte is in wonderful condition and perfect as a collector piece or for bird hunting in October. The shotgun comes with a vintage hard leather case, rose wood cleaning rods, chrome plated snap caps and a chrome plated oil bottle.CORRECTION: Leather case is clearly marked: Abercrombie & Fitch/marked in England.
