Bisque socket head incised with triangle and moon [Goebel trademark] “Max Handwerck Bebe Elite 286/3 ¾ Germany” with lashed sleeping eyes, open mouth, replaced human hair wig on Kestner jointed composition body (lower arms repainted). Another incised S & H 1039 Germany Dep” with Wimpern stamp (extensive repair on top and side of forehead), replaced wig on new French-style walking body. Both dolls nicely dressed.
