Mahogany box with hinged top. Inlayed oval brass monogram plate on top and matching inlayed oval brass keyhole escutcheon. Inside divided into nine sections. Contents: 6 - 1/4" x 5 - 3/4" 33-hole Solitaire & Tactics board with green fortress design. Reverse side is 50-hole Snail Game with gold filigree. Nine precisely 1/2" mica marbles, 31 carved chess pieces, 24 Backgammon/Draughts pieces, top has hinged door holding double-folding game board for Chess/Draughts, Backgammon and "The Steeple Chase". Cribbage board, 28 Dominoes, two dice, two Whist markers, two Bezique registers and four small painted lead horses with jockeys are also included. Lastly 33 peewee swirls and micas are included. F.H.
