The Ross straight pull magazine rifle was widely issued to Canadian troops during World War I. Features a 28" barrel and is chambered for the .303 British cartridge. These rifles are fairly hard to find on this side of the pond, and this rifle is in excellent condition. All metal surfaces are a smooth blue-brown patina. Walnut stocks are excellent. Action is fine. Very good bore. Small 1" chip at left side of forestock. Has military sights, original canvas sling, and rare original bayonet with leather frog. All original World War I battle rifle in fine, rarely seen condition.
